This quilt was exposed in Birmingham/EQ 2003/Festival of quilts, here are 3 judges´comments: a - Very subtle use of colour. Interesting to see portraits drwan by machine. b - Woven piece adds interest & nice contrast. Faces exciting. c - Confidently drawn and stitched. The focal point of this quilt is truly innovative.

The model comes from Françoise LABIO, her quilt "Triangles en profondeur" was publisehd in September 2003 in "Les nouvelles du Patchwork" pages 46-47 Numéro 78. My friend Françoise was so kind and helpful to give me all information necessary for my bed-cover, she owned a wonderful quilt shop in Brussels. A hard-drive crash made me lost my full view pictures of this wonderful quilt. Please be patient to see some more!

Françoise sewed this original quilt with the sewing-machine and quilted it per hand with extremly tiny stitches. She owns a fabulous quilt shop where you can buy kits with explanations to sew this model. The fabrics shown are only a colourful example and will be replaced with others/similars.
