Sie wußte, dass ich aus meiner Arbeit, alles Mögliche an Stoffmuster erhielt. Übrigens nochmals Danke Frau Geßner! Also "außergewöhnliche" Stoffen, nicht unbedingt, diejenigen die aus einem Quiltshop kommen.

She knew, that I got different and particular fabrics samples from my office. Again many thanks Mss Gessner ! Also extra-ordinary fabrics, not the kind of ones you find in a Quiltshop.

Es ist nie einfach, etwas ganz neues und fremdes anzufangen, aber Marinette gelang es sofort.

week 1

De semaine en semaine elle m´envoya des photos des points qu´elle avait ajouté sur son bloc.

Jede Woche erhielt ich per Email Bilder, von neuen Stichen, die sie gestickt hatte.

Every week, she sent me pictures of her block per email, mit new stitches on it.

week 4

A chaque fois c´était la surprise et je dois dire que j´en restais béate.

Jedesmal war das die Überraschung, und ich war wirklich "platt".

Everytime it was a surprise, a big big surprise and I was just amazed.

week 5

Beaucoup d´exactitude, de régularité, d´application dans les points.

Il parait vraiment difficile de croire que c´est le PREMIER bloc crazy que Marinette embellit semaine après semaine à la main. 

Es ist wahrhaftig sehr schwer zu glauben, dass es Marinettes 1. Crazy-Block ist. Mit neuen Stichen Woche pro Woche. 

It is really hard to believe that this is Marinette´s FIRST Crazy-Block. With new stitches every week.

Mais c´est la vérité, Marinette a un talent inné de broderie.

Aber es ist die Wahrheit. Marinette hat ein eingeborenes Talent für die Stickerei.

But it is the truth. Marinette has an inner talent for embroidery.

Je suis très fière qu´elle se soit lancée, en vainquant ses propres appréhensions et surtout en découvrant quelque chose que jamais elle n´aurait pensé être en elle.

Ich bin sehr stolz, dass sie sich die Sache vorgenommen hat, dass sie ihre Befürchtungen und Ängste überwunden hat. Sie hat etwas in sich entdeckt, dass sie niemals vermutet hätte.

I am very very proud, that she started this, that she fought against her fears and apprehension. She discovered something in herself that she never never had thought thought being there.

Nous avons des trésors et des capacités inattendues au fond de nous-mêmes, prenons confiance et mettons-nous à l´ouvrage.

Wir haben alle versteckte Schätze und Möglichkeiten, tief in uns verborgen. Wir sollten mehr Vertrauen haben und zeigen und uns an die Arbeit machen.

We all have hidden treasures or abilities  in ourselves. We should have and show more self-confidence, and we should  start working.

Merci Marinette, tout d´abord pour ta modestie, puis ensuite pour ta réussite. J´espère que tu inspireras beaucoup d´autres.
